GOD IS AT WORK

Job 23:10 – “He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.”

We are created uniquely for different purposes. It is a mistake to compare yourself to others because God’s plan for individuals is unique and personal. The way He trains individuals may sometimes be strange, but His result is always worth waiting for. He accomplishes His purpose in our lives, and all He wants from us is trust and obedience. Amid unspeakable great trouble, Job said “He knows the way that I take.” The path you are on today is the one God chose for you, and He never makes mistakes. You may not know where He is or what He is doing, but He knows where you are because He never takes His eyes off you.

Job further said, “When he has tested me.” The word “when” suggests God has established a set time for testing you, and a set time for bringing you out of the test. Are you not glad that He is the One testing you, and not people? Would you trust anyone other than Him to take you through the learning curve? When God gets through refining you and removing the impurities from your life, you will shine like a pure and precious gold. The process always precedes the promise. When the dross has been discarded and the fear removed, some people may wonder how such a vessel could have been made from such a poor material. They may even ask if you are the same person at the end. It is always good to wait till the refining process is completed.
