Seeds of Wisdom

So, when Peter said that the end is “at hand” or “is near”; he was saying that he lived his life as if every day was THE day that Christ would return. How would you live your life differently if you believed that the end of all things was in sight?

Jesus proclaimed that He chose us and appointed (ordained) us that we should go and bear fruit and that the fruit we bear should remain (John 15:16). When Jesus says that the fruit we bear should remain, He is saying that the fruit we bear is perpetual; long-lasting – continues forever!

In every situation and every circumstance, no matter how difficult or troubling; when those in distress cried out to the Lord, God heard their prayers and delivered them.

Obstacles will arise, but we must hold on to the vision that God has given us and believe that it will come to pass in its appointed time. God gives us a vision to persevere through our setbacks. Sometimes, God gives a vision before trials and tests happen. God gives us a vision so that we know where we are running to.

Vision is foresight with insight based on hindsight. Vision for an individual reflects what God wants to accomplish through you to build His Kingdom. Vision is the God-given ability to see possible solutions to everyday problems of life.

God has profoundly promised that as you step into this new season, you will be lifted. Isaiah 60:10-11 declares, “Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you… Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations.”

When God has determined and set you to do great things in life, nothing can change it. As you stand on the threshold of a new year, let the promise resonate within your spirit that you will do great and mighty things this year.
