GOD’S COUNSEL SHALL STAND

Isaiah 55:8 - “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”

God is telling us that He does not think the way we think, and He certainly does not do things the way we do things, period! We are mere mortals, and He is God. When you are dealing with God, remember that He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. We as humans are still trying to get a better understanding of the solar system, and God is saying the way He thinks is above the heavens and the earth. He said only His counsel (plan and purpose) shall stand. Child of God, relax and let God do His good pleasure in your life for only Him can do what man cannot do!

Listen to this, our creator is telling us to leave the hard work for Him to do and He will inform us when it is all done. God is telling you and I not to think of the outcome of the request that we have placed before Him. Be assured of the best outcome. It may not be what you want or the way you want it, but you will certainly be happy with the outcome. Many of us are frustrated because we want God to do things in a certain way, as a result, we are failing to enjoy what we have at the moment. He will surely do it beyond your expectations. If you think about the promises of God, it will help you to have faith in Him because "God is not a man that He should lie."
