FAVOUR WITH GOD AND MAN

Proverbs 18:16 – ‘‘A man’s gift [given in love or courtesy] makes room for him and brings him before great men.’’

Favour is a reality of God’s way of assisting man in the fulfilment of life’s assignment. If your result in life depends only on your effort solely, something is wrong, and you cannot go far. Favour is a supernatural grace that results in a sudden shift or lifting that causes someone’s story to change overnight. Joseph experienced this dimension of supernatural shift. From prison to palace. Esther experienced this uncommon favour. A slave girl suddenly became a queen in a foreign land (Esther 2:15-17). There is another way to secure favour with men. One of the keys to entering the realm of favour is to possess the ability to be a problem solver. Ability is the key to entering the realm of favour with men notwithstanding. The ability to solve problems takes you to a place of influence and significance because the world is desperate for solutions. No one stands before great men with an empty container. Content and grace separate the ordinary from the extraordinary. Your gift can bring you before great people. Ecclesiastes 9:11 highlights that time and chance surpass the speed and strength of the race, the wisdom, the intelligence, and the ability of the wise and the rich. Time and chance - time means seasons and chance means opportunities. Seasons and opportunities happen to them all. This implies that there will be a time when certain things will turn in a person’s life. You must believe that there will be an opportunity for your ability one day. If you can hold onto God, a time will come when His hand will navigate your opportunity through favour.
