BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING
Philippians 4:6 - “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer … with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
God does not want us to be anxious about any issues but talk to Him about whatever problem you may be encountering, in prayer. Paul said in the above scripture that after praying, we should thank Him for responding to us with a clear direction, solution, and instruction. After we have communicated our needs to God, we must learn to wait for His voice. It is inside God’s voice that direction, solution, and peace come. When God gives a solution, it comes with peace; then worry, fear and anxiety disappear. It is not enough to pray; you must wait for Him to speak to you. When God speaks, His voice silences fear and anxiety and confidence, and assurance takes over. Now, this is how to make your request. You need to be specific and after you have made your request believe that it is done. The Bible says "...whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24).
Get to the point of your need, do not generalise issues. Approach God like a Father. Christ illustrated this by saying "Verily, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3). Our God is a responsible Father, and the way you see Him will determine how you approach Him. Do you see Him as a caring Father? If you stand on the Word of God, you will not be disappointed. Please do not doubt God. Doubting God could be the only reason why we may not see results. Hebrews 11:6"...he that cometh to God must believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."
