PRAYER FOR DIVINE HELP

Psalm 28:7 - "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him."

In moments of uncertainty and trials, we find solace in the divine embrace of our Heavenly Father. Let us turn to Him in prayer, seeking His unfailing guidance and strength. Just as biblical characters found refuge and aid in their times of need, so too can we entrust our cares to Him. Consider the example of the Apostles in the Acts of the Apostles, who faced persecution and adversity for their faith. They prayed earnestly for strength and courage, and God answered by filling them with the Holy Spirit, empowering them to continue spreading the Gospel despite the challenges they encountered. In the face of adversity, we lift our voices to You, O Lord, seeking Your divine intervention. As You strengthened the Apostles in their time of need, we pray for Your guidance and empowerment to face the trials before us. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so that we may have the courage to persevere and continue walking in Your ways. Amen.

Consider the story of Daniel in the lion's den (Daniel 6). Despite facing imminent danger, Daniel remained steadfast in his faith and continued to pray to God. The Lord intervened, shutting the mouths of the lions, and delivering Daniel from harm. In moments of distress, let us emulate Daniel's unwavering trust in God's protection. Gracious God when we encounter situations that seem insurmountable. May we trust in Your promise to deliver us from harm. Grant us the courage to stand firm in our faith, knowing that You are our ever-present help in times of trouble. Amen.
