JEHOVAH RAPHA - THE LORD WHO HEALS

Exodus 15:26 – “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

The name, Jehovah Rapha, caters for our health and healing and provides immunity and immunisation against diseases. He is the Lord of our health. Healing is a miracle of God to restore your body or parts of the body that are diseased or missing due to inborn errors, assaults, and accidents. One of the critical battles people face is the battle against sicknesses and diseases. There are diseases and sicknesses today that defy medical intervention. The causes of some diseases are complex, and doctors have yet to understand and diagnose some of them.

There are two kinds of diseases. The first is the organic disease which medical intervention can provide a diagnosis for and can be treated. However, the second kind of disease, which is classified as demonic, cannot be diagnosed, treated, or cured without supernatural intervention. Imagine a person who is bedridden or sick, but doctors cannot trace the cause, or a woman who is confirmed pregnant by doctors and all tests are normal, but she is unable to deliver her baby. At this point, you will know that this is not natural. Jehovah Rapha provides for our health, mentally, physically, and emotionally. It is a supernatural provision that covers all our requirements for wholeness, soundness and everything concerning our well-being in a physical sense. He said I Am the Lord that heals thee. This is a divine commitment of God to immunise His people from diseases and preserve, restore, and renew their health.
