GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU

Psalm 27:3 – “Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.”

Our God is a man of war, and He does not lose a battle. When He steps into a battle with you, He takes over. He told Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20: 15, “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” For God to fight for you, you need to enter into a genuine relationship with Him before you can secure His commitment to fight for you. The name of the Lord can only work for you when you are in a covenant relationship with him, not a superficial relationship. You must have a revelation knowledge of the name of the Lord. The only reason David could say even though war should rise against him, and enemies and hosts should encamp around him, he will not fear was because of the revelation he had of the Lord as a man of war (Psalm 27:3). What revelation do you have about the Lord our Captain? This is a requirement to walking with God in power and experience supernatural victory.

Also, you must learn to rest in God during battles, circumstances, and situations (Isaiah 30:15). Do not allow what you see physically to move you to fear as it can make you lose focus and become defeated. Worry took over when the children of Israel saw the chariots of Pharaoh (Exodus 14:10). At this point, they contemplated going back to Egypt to remain slaves. This is what fear can do. It will push you into defeat. However, when you stand still and are confident in Him, deliverance will come from God, the battle will be won, and you will be victorious.
