KEYS FOR A SUSTAINABLE LIFE

Matthew 16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth … loosed in heaven.”

God’s Kingdom is governed by principles that He has put in place for us to experience results in as much as we can apply them rightly.  There are some keys that will cause us to live a sustained lifestyle to our next level. Access to all things we will ever need has already been provided but we must understand and use it. One of these keys is to be sound in our faith (Jude 1:3). Spending time in studying, meditating, memorising, praying, and living by the precepts of the Bible will help you to be steadfast, consistent, and diligent.

Another great key to a sustainable life is to be strategic. 1 Corinthians 9:26 says that “Therefore, I do not run uncertainly without a definite aim…” To be strategic means to have a plan of action designed to achieve a goal. Also, we must be generally proactive and not reactive. This gives a competitive advantage in life. Proverbs 30:24-28 talks about ants, conies, locust, and spiders. Ants, although feeble, are strategic; they prepare their meat in the summer. The conies (rock baggers or Arabian mice), also feeble, yet make houses in the rock. The locusts have no king, yet they go forth in bands. The spider takes hold with her hands and is in a king’s palace. There are important lessons to learn from these animals on preparation, association, and strategic living that we can all embrace.
