LEVELS OF YEILDING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT Cont.

“For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose].”

Romans 8:5

Yesterday, we discussed two levels of yielding to the Holy Spirit. We will discuss the last two today. It is important to understand that the more we yield to the Holy Spirit, the more we will enjoy His ministry and leading.

The LOIN-LEVEL according to Ezekiel 47:4 is the point you can sense the struggle between the spirit and the flesh. Just like Paul experienced in Romans 7:19, 23-24. When you get into the spirit realm, you suddenly discover that uncrucified flesh is a terrible enemy of spirituality, and some things want to feed that uncrucified flesh in your life. Most people have occupied their lives with different things that replace the Holy Spirit in their lives. Such as the media, the internet, an overloaded schedule, and pleasures of life sponsored by the flesh.

At the RIVER EXPERIENCE (Verse 5), there is a river that flows from the throne of God through the Holy Spirit to your spirit. Will you allow your body to be a vehicle for the transmission of the Holy Spirit? In this passage, there was water everywhere – this signifies a situation where He is fully in charge. And you must get to that place when you bring your mind to subjection to the Holy Spirit for Him to take over your life’s affairs. When you can be a yielding vessel, He will partner with you as your helper, comforter, and teacher and guide you into the mysteries of God.

Prayer: Lord, I submit my all (spirit, soul, and body) to the dictates of the Holy Spirit. Let my will be lost in Yours.
