ACCESSING ANSWERS BY PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

“But you have an anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit], and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us, illuminates our minds, and guards us from error].”

1 John 2:20 

Praying in the Spirit helps you in such a way that whenever life throws a question at you and you pray in the Spirit, it is like going to a database where you have stored information and retrieving it. God has answers to every life situation, and the answer is in the Holy Spirit.

1 John 2:20 says, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit], and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us, illuminates our minds, and guards us from error].” It is like looking for something and somebody asks, ‘Are you sure?’, and you maintain, ‘Oh I am sure I kept it here; just give me some time. I am going to find it.’ And you keep looking and pulling things up until you find it because you are sure you put it there.

As a Christian, God made you a speaking spirit. Thus, whenever you face a situation in life that you cannot handle by your experience, then, it is time to go into the place where the answer is. And what do you do? You start speaking in tongues. Praying in tongues is like dipping a bucket into the well of God for life. Whatever is it you are faced with, once you start speaking in tongues, know that the answer is somewhere. Even if you do not know how long it is going to take you, keep praying, the answer is going to come up on the surface with confidence.
