OPEN MY EYES TO SEE
Luke 18:41 – “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”
The purpose of the eyes is to see both in the physical and spiritual realms. Matthew 6:22 says, “The eye is the light of the body, but if your eye is full of darkness how can you see?” This implies that your eyes must be opened to see the direction God wants you to go in this new month and season. You must know where and what God has specifically designed for you and pursue it without hesitation. Bartimaeus cried to Jesus, that I may see because he knew that one is stagnant, confused, and can be slowed down in motion when one cannot see clearly. To possess all that God has packaged for you, you must see it before you can acquire it.
Many people have eyes but not many can see, some look but see nothing. God must open your eyes so that you can see a solution to your request, a way out, and a path to advancement. God told Moses “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” They were afraid and could not move forward because they did not see what God was doing (Exodus 14:12-28). Likewise, Elisha’s servant was afraid of the army of chariots because he did not see the numerous hosts of angels that surrounded them. Hence, his master asked God to open his eyes to see. It takes your eyes of understanding to perceive what God is doing in this season and for you not to miss God’s opportunity, you must regulate your spiritual insight. What you see is what you can take advantage of. May God open your eyes to see what He has for you and the direction you should go to possess your blessings this season.
