KINGDOM PRIORITY

Jeremiah 51:20 - “You are my battle-ax and sword,” says the LORD. “With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms”.

The unyielding commitment of the divine towards Earth's redemption echoes through the ages, signifying God's resolute intent to manifest His kingdom on Earth. God appointed humanity as stewards of His grand design, evident in the dominion mandate granted to mankind (Genesis 2:5). However, the fulfilment of His purposes necessitates that His children evolve from passive beneficiaries to active agents spearheading the advancement of His kingdom. Among the essential instruments for this task, prayer emerges as a powerful means, enabling humanity to partner with Heaven in ushering God's intentions on Earth, a trust bestowed upon mankind as Earth's custodians (Psalm 115:16). In seeking humanity's collaboration to intervene in worldly events, God invites His children to assert His divine will instead of succumbing to prevailing circumstances (Matthew 6:10). Prayer stands as the indispensable means to establish God's values and intentions on Earth. Within the world's turbulent landscape, the church stands as God's instrument to revitalise ancient ruins, embodying His timeless counsel and shaping human existence. Embracing this mandate, believers are called to fervently pray for the manifestation of His kingdom and exemplify its virtues and principles within society (1 Peter 2:9).

Jeremiah 51:20 highlights the priority of aligning our aspirations with God's kingdom purposes rather than solely focusing on personal ambitions. Whenever we prioritise praying for the establishment of God's kingdom on Earth, it reflects our acknowledgement of His sovereignty and magnifies His divine will over our lives.
