GREAT THINGS ARE PREPARED FOR YOU

1 Corinthians 2:10 – “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.”

The love of God compels Him to reveal what He has prepared for us as His children. Paul was giving us one of the important benefits of being spiritual because dealing with God, who is Spirit, requires one to be spiritually minded. You cannot know most of the things that God has for you if you do not train your spirit to see the way God sees. You need the insight to foresee what He has for you and take possession of it by faith. What you see is what you possess. He told Jeremiah in 1:11, “What do you see?” He also asked Abraham in Genesis 13:14-15, “What do you see?” He went further to say, “I will give what you see to you and your descendants.” So, seeing and believing is important to take what God has prepared for you. When you need to make an important decision you can pray, ‘Lord, reveal to me what I do not know and teach me what I need to learn so that my decision is in line with Your will.’

Instead of confining God to church and so-called ‘spiritual activities’, ask for His help in every area of your life. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still and know that I am God.” This implies that you must be still long enough for Him to do What He is doing in your life till He finishes, otherwise, one may hasten ahead of God and impatience may cause you to miss the intended plan that He wants to bring about in your life. Wait patiently on Him and let Him act. When God acts, He acts big.
