Seeds of Wisdom

GOD KNOWS YOU
John 1:48 - "Nathanael said to Him, 'How do You know me?' Jesus answered and said to him, 'Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.'"
In the encounter between Jesus and Nathanael, a profound truth unfolds - God intimately knows each one of us. Nathanael's question, "How do You know me?" is met with a revelation of divine awareness, assuring us that God sees us in the quiet moments, under our personal fig trees.
Psalm 139 beautifully captures the depth of God's knowledge, "O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar." God's awareness encompasses every aspect of our lives, reflecting an intimate knowledge that predates our existence.
Jeremiah 1:5 unveils the personal connection God has with each of His children, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you..." God's knowledge extends beyond the present; He intimately knows us from the very inception of our existence.
A Shepherd's Recognition: In John 10:14-15, Jesus describes His relationship with His followers, "I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father..." This shepherd-like knowledge involves recognition, care, and an unbreakable bond between the Shepherd and His sheep.
Take solace in the truth that God knows you intimately - your thoughts, your history, and your future. The One who saw Nathanael under the fig tree sees you in the quiet moments of your life. His knowledge is not distant; it is personal, caring, and filled with love.
