ASSURANCES OF GOD’S POSSIBILITIES

Matthew 19:26 – “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

It has been established through many testimonies in the Bible and in contemporary times that there are assurances of the limitless power of God. Psalm 62:11 says, “God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God.” The angel said to Mary in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing will be impossible.” Jesus told the Sadducees in Mark 12:24, “Your problem is that you do not know the Scriptures, and you do not know the power of God.” God’s power is limitless; it is matchless! The challenge of this generation of Christians is that they do not create time to encounter the reality of the Almighty God. You cannot taste or experience the power of God and deny His ability.

When Paul encountered God on his way to Damascus, he did not hesitate to surrender to Him. Jesus told the father of the child with a dumb spirit who was brought to him: “Anything is possible if you can believe” (Mark 9:23). That means the problem is not with God but with man. Sarah laughed at God’s promise that she would have a child. She had waited for so long that she had stopped believing in God for a child. She said, “How could a worn-out woman like me….?” (Genesis 18:12), but what God promised came to manifestation. Be confident that God cannot fail, He is too faithful to fail.
