GIVING GOD THE BEST

Psalm 8:1 – “O Lord, our Lord How majestic and glorious and excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have displayed Your splendour above the heavens.”

God deserves our best and excellent service because He has given us His best, Jesus the only begotten son. Psalm 8:1 tells us that our God is excellent and whatever we offer Him must not be mediocre. To provide your best service will require investing quality time to study the Word, worship, and pray, where you can encounter God through His Spirit. Then you can experience brokenness through the Holy Spirit that will help you to die to flesh. You cannot give God the best if you cannot sacrifice - you must be willing to go the extra mile. You must be prepared to do things differently.  Anything that does not cost you cannot move God.

God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac as proof of his love and obedience. When you know how to give the best of your time, life and resources to God, He will show up in your life and give you, His best. While others are looking for God, your sacrifice will cause God to look for you to bless you. You must think and see differently; thinking differently will make you creative and innovative with different ideas that promote the kingdom of God. This will always help you to consistently function in excellence. Excellence is the doorway to opportunity and recognition in life. When you sow the seed of excellence, you reap the harvest of favour and elevation.
