Seeds of Wisdom

ADVANCEMENT
Deuteronomy 2:1-3 – “Then we turned and journeyed into the wilderness of the way of the Red Sea … and we skirted Mount Seir for many days. “And the Lord spoke to me, saying:” You have stayed on this mountain long enough; turn northward.”
We serve a God who wants His children to advance. He said to the children of Israel, “You have compassed this mountain long enough, go northward.” This is synonymous with moving to another level. Likewise, God is telling you that it is time to take decisive steps to possess what He has for you this season. There are, however, certain qualities you need to move forward. Firstly, you need to be determined. It takes determination to say to yourself that you are tired of the level that you are. This, coupled with having a rugged faith in God, would cause you to act. As you do, heaven will back you up.
You also need to depend on God and the Holy Spirit for direction, so that you do not end up tarrying in Gilgal, or by the rivers of Babylon. Importantly, do not hang up your harps - your instrument of warfare and praise. This is because your praise and worship are a weapon, which empowers you and attracts heaven’s attention for supernatural strength and support. I urge you to take courage to go forward because “eye has not seen, nor ear heard the things God has in store for you” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Remember, you are a divine project in God’s hands, and He will surely take you to your destination, but you have a part to play.
