GOD ANSWERS PRAYER
Matthew 7:7 – “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
Whenever you need something from God, all you must do is ask. In addition to reverencing God in our prayers, we are also allowed to bring our petition before Him. Bible says, “ask and you will receive...” (Matthew 7:7). The Bible also says that we do not receive because we do not ask; hence, if you do not ask you will not receive - it is as simple as that. God knows your needs, but He wants you to ask in faith because without your faith being active, you cannot receive anything from Him. Mark 11:24 says whatever you desire, pray, and believe then you can have them. This is a principle of praying and receiving.
In Hebrews 4:16, we are told “let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace to help in time of need.” Come boldly to God and ask! (Psalm 66:18). The only thing that will stop you from receiving from God is unconfessed sin. God loves you, but He hates sin. The Bible says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”
We must, therefore, confess our sins daily to God so that He can forgive us. Once you are right before God, you can ask anything in His name, and He will do, it. God has His way of doing things so, at His own time, He will make everything perfect in your life. The problem many have is the ability to wait. When we come to God, we expect all our needs to be met immediately. Sometimes, God will test you to ensure that you are rooted in faith. Whenever God blesses you, remain in His house so that you will continue to enjoy His blessing.
