Seeds of Wisdom

GOD HEARS YOU
Job 30: 20 – “I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regard me not.”
We often feel like God has not heard or answered our prayers. If you have ever felt like that, I want to assure you that God has heard you. Job felt the same way when he said in Job 30:20 that, “I cry out to you, O God, but you do not answer; I stand up, but you merely look at me.” In verse 26, he also says that “when I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.” We all at one point have felt the hour of darkness when it seemed heaven was closed, and God had moved away without a forwarding address. We worry and ask questions, as it looks as though you have been abandoned and there is no solution. There are some lessons to learn when God keeps silent. Silence does not mean God is absent.
Keep trusting Him even when you do not hear anything; do not lose hope in Him. Psalm 46:10-11 says: “Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted…” Do not allow anything to shake you; God is there with you even when you do not feel Him. His presence surrounds you and He will be glorified in your situation. He is your refuge and fortress. He will be exalted in your situation. The silence of God is a test of faith. You must examine yourself if you are operating in faith or fear. Do not cast your confidence in God away - keep on believing in His promises. He cannot fail you. Your waiting is not in vain.
