GOD IS EVER MERCIFUL

Romans 9:15 – For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”’

God revealed Himself to Moses on the platform of mercy in Exodus 33:18-23. Mercy is a product of what Jesus has done for us. He said to the Pharisees that He came to show mercy (Matthew 9:10-13). The mercy of God speaks of His compassion and faithfulness. Compassion is the ability to be touched by the suffering of another irrespective of what has happened. We need God’s mercies to obtain everything we need in this season. When mercy is provoked in faith, we see instant results. Because of God’s mercy, what others labour and struggle to get, you can enjoy it without any struggle.

What then is mercy? It implies favour that overrules human law or protocol. It makes people accept you despite your disadvantages or limitations. The mercy of God can make people take interest in you and cause intervention in your situation as was the case of blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52) who was singled out from the crowd by Jesus, and he received his sight. God will intervene in your matter and give you victory. You do not have to worry about who has gone ahead of you. The fact that they have gone ahead does not mean they will get there before you. When mercy is speaking for you, everything you do brings results, and your life becomes unexplainable. God’s mercy lifts people up. May you experience the strange mercy of God in Jesus name.
