UNCONDITIONAL SERVICE
John 15:13 – “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
One of the greatest secrets in the Kingdom of God is service. Service precedes honour and elevation, and it is the key to escape limitation, shame, and reproach. Serving God for who He is and because He is our maker, not for what He does or because He is a provider, a healer, or a deliverer. When you seek God genuinely which is the ability to trust Him regardless; He will come through for you. That is what the three Hebrew boys did when they told the King that they would not bow to his image.
When you serve God unconditionally, even though your miracle is delayed, it will not reduce your service to Him. The Shunammite woman did not serve because she wanted a child or a miracle. I believe she said to herself, I am not serving God because of a miracle but because He is God who created everything. This is the case of the woman in Luke 13:10-14. For 18 years, this woman was bent over, but served God in her situation. Her priority was to worship God and to make heaven. She was serving God in that condition, and always in the temple, discharging her duties as that was her custom. One day, her miracle met her where she was serving. Whatever situation that has made you ‘bent over’, your story will surely change, and God will remove any form of limitation from your life in Jesus’ name. Amen!
