Genesis 1:3 – “And God said, let there be light: and there was light.”

According to the scriptures, God is all that His Word is. That is, anything that cannot stop God cannot stop His Word from having its way. God is the Creator and His Word creates solutions. During the first appearance of the Word, in the story of creation, it created a solution to a world that was in chaos. As it is written: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and the earth was without form, and void, God said, ‘Let there be light: and there was light.’ In the same way, God’s Word still creates solutions today. When we believe His Word, it will continue to create solutions in our lives.

Jesus said in John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickened; the flesh profited nothing....” God’s Spirit dwells in His Word which we engage in battle. Thus, when we say, “It is written,” the Spirit of the Word goes forth to challenge and confront our situations and challenges to bring victory. Job 22:29 says, “You shall decree a thing and it shall be established.” You are to decree what you want to see and as you declare it in faith; nothing can resist its manifestation. As you engage the power of the spoken word; the Spirit of the Lord in the Word levels every mountain and empowers us to win. Therefore, when we engage the Word, our triumph is guaranteed.
