Seeds of Wisdom

Romans 14:12 – “So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.”

We shall all one day give an account of ourselves before God, so it is best you stick to His assignment. I am sure if you have exams, you will focus on the paper you are going to write, in the same way we all have to focus on God's assignment. Because at the end of time, He will judge all mankind. With this in mind, we need to be bold if we want to do the will of God. Do you know why? It is because He may direct you to do things that others will not agree, approve of, or understand. If you are doing anything according to the will of God, do not worry about what others may say. It is God that you are accountable to not your critics. Have you noticed that the moment you begin to do things out of the boundaries of what people want, they will begin to reject or start criticising you? Do not allow the behaviour of people to stop you from fulfilling your God-given purpose. If what you are doing is in the will of God and you have a proper understanding of it, then continue steadfastly.

It is sometimes very painful when you are being criticised, but it is better to listen to God than those who are criticising you. There is so much temptation in the world today that people are selling their souls to the devil just for material gain. Even when you are going through difficult times because of your decision to honour God, keep your head up because God gives His hardest battle to His strongest soldiers. Whatever you do in this life, remember to do it as unto God because He is the one that we are accountable to.
