GOD WILL EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATION

Ephesians 3:20 – “God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think.”

God has no limits and has the power to do what He has determined to do in our lives. Paul states in Ephesians 3:20 that God can do exceedingly abundantly above our imagination, implying that God can exceed our expectations. Expectation always gives birth to manifestation. Many of us are pregnant with great things - business, enlargement, or new ideas. Overdue things in our lives will come as double promotions, opportunities, and honours. For example, Hannah, who asked for only a male child, was made a mother of five by God.

Esther, an orphan girl, was not expected to become a queen in a foreign land, but God took her to a position of great influence. Abraham, who followed God's command in faith, exceeded his expectations and became a father of nations. Expectation is what we anticipate for this month and the rest of the year. In Acts 3:3-5, the man at the beautiful gate looked at Peter and John for a little money, but they told him, “Look on us, silver and gold we do not have (but what we must give you is above your expectation); in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk.” God changed his story from a beggar to a purposeful man. Holding on to God without wavering will enable you to see great things. We often think in ordinary ways, but God thinks extraordinarily. His plans for us are bigger and more than we can imagine. Have faith and expect God’s goodness to exceed your expectations.
