GRACE WITHOUT MEASURE
Titus 2:11-12 - "For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age."
The concept of Grace is profound and fundamental to our faith. It is an infinite expression of God's love and mercy to all believers. Consider the transformational journey of Paul, who once persecuted Christians but became an apostle of grace. Writing to the Ephesians, he declares that it is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8). But this grace is not limited to people like Paul. It extends to each of us. It is for the broken woman to whom Jesus expressed compassion when he said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more” (John 8:11). It is for the prodigal son who was welcomed with open arms by his father (Luke 15:20-24).
So how can we make this blessing immeasurable? It starts with humility and faith. James reminds us: “God resists the proud but shows mercy to the humble” (James 4:6). When we humbly acknowledge our need for God's grace and trust in His provision, God gives us abundant grace. Walking in immense grace means expressing God's love and forgiveness toward others. We show mercy just as we have received mercy. Just as we have been forgiven, so we also forgive (Colossians 3:13). Let us be agents of God's grace and show His love and goodness to a world in need while also exhibiting godliness and living a self-controlled life.
